【The path to debut】

Mr. Johan is from Sweden, where he has been working as a Rakugo storyteller since graduation.
He joined Sanyutei Koraku in 2016. After completing four years of training under his master, he was promoted to “Futatsume” in August 2020! He is currently performing under the wonderful stage name “Sanyutei Koseinen”.He has been holding rakugo performances not only in Japan but also abroad, making full use of his linguistic skills (Japanese, English, and Swedish) as well as his storytelling ability, which is essential for rakugo to bring laughter to the audience. In 2023, he hosted and narrated the NHK World program “My job in Japan”. We hope that Mr. Johan will continue to bring smiles to people's faces around the world!
