Career Development Program for International Students

■Requirements for accreditation of the Career Development Program for Foreign Students
(certified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology)

①The course must be accredited as a professional training course for vocational practice.
②The school must be in a continuous and stable financial condition with respect to its management base.
③The ratio of students studying abroad must be within one half of the total number of students in the department for which accreditation is sought, and there must be opportunities for exchange with Japanese students and an environment that promotes an understanding of Japanese society. If more than one half of the courses are offered, appropriate career guidance (an average of 90% or more in the last three years is assumed) must be provided and more than 300 hours of courses must be offered to promote understanding of Japanese society necessary for finding a job in Japan.
④There are no inappropriate circumstances regarding the admission of foreign students or other circumstances that are deemed inappropriate in light of the purpose of the student's stay.
