How I obtained this career
After graduating from high school in China, I enrolled in a fine arts university and majored in fine arts design for 4 years. Following graduation, I worked for approximately 2 years in the internet center of a university as a web designer. During that time, I developed a deep interest in Japanese anime and manga. I received an invitation from a friend working as a designer in Japan and came to Japan to study top level anime and CG techniques in Japan.
I enrolled in Osaka Communication Arts in 2008 and studied games and CG after studying Japanese for 2 years at a Japanese language school. Japan is certainly the number 1 country in Asia for gaming. Japanese game companies place enormous emphasis on quality, whether it be scenario writing, 3D character rendering, or editing animation. I acquired a lot of skills studying at OCA for 3 years.
I began looking for a job in my second year of studies. I went to Hello Work, the national employment agency in Japan, and took part in job fairs held each year at the school. All in all, I looked into a fair number of companies. In my 3rd year, I interned at Pygmy Studio, which was introduced to me by one of my teachers. I worked very hard during the internship, and, as a result, I received a job offer from the company. I will make good use of the specialist knowledge and skills which I learned at school, and I will do my best to become an asset to my company.
